On the fourth Sunday of every month, TBS volunteers help setup, serve meals, and cleanup at the Downtown Evening Soup Kitchen.  DESK provides free, nutritious meals for homeless individuals, families, and the working and non-working poor of the Greater New Haven area. DESK serves hot evening meals, packs free bag lunches, stocks food pantry bags, maintains an emergency food bank for people in crisis and their pets.
DESK is in need of a very specific list of ingredients to cook tasty
meals for their guests.  There will be a box where TBS members can
leave donations, which we will deliver to DESK when we serve.  Please
