Those of you who came to the Megillah reading last Monday night saw me carrying a large water jug. The change inside made a dandy noise maker, but it also called attention to the Temple's Walk Against Hunger team. We are raising funds for the Connecticut Food Bank, which provides food products to more than 650 soup kitchens, shelters, food pantries and daycare programs in Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London, and Windham counties.

If you would like to join the temple team and walk with us on Sunday, May 3, please go to http://www.blueskycollaborative.com/cfb/ to register.  Click on the "Register Here" button and then on the "Join a Team" button under the New Haven walk.  Fill in your own information and where you are asked what team you would like to join, select TBS from the menu.

If you would like to make a donation on-line, you can give to an individual walker or to the team.  From http://www.blueskycollaborative.com/cfb/ select "Fund Raising Pages". From there you can choose to donate to the TBS team or to an individual on the team.
