For new and returning Reading Partners

The Jewish Coalition for Literacy (JCL) recruits, trains and places volunteer reading partners in local public schools to read with children who need additional support to read at grade level.  JCL’s incredible team of volunteers commit one hour a week to read one to one with a child in kindergarten through 4th grade, helping them improve their reading skills and experience the joy of reading.

Kids cannot wait.  Give an hour a week to help a child pave the way to a successful future.  No prior experience required.  JCL will hold an Orientation Session for new and returning volunteer reading partners on Tuesday October 2nd at 9:30 a.m. at the JCC in Woodbridge.  Joyce Saltman, an inspiring and humorous speaker, will address the volunteers.:  Contact Brenda Brenner at 203-387-2424 x 308 or This email address is being protected from spambots.
